VHE Private Hire Fares:

 

Standard One Way Fare is £1 per mile. Minimum fare of £50 for up to 20 miles. (Members save £5 on every trip, minimum fare £50 for 25 miles)

(If driving with passengers on board between 6am & 7am or between 7pm & 10pm VHE charge £10 extra & between 10pm to 6am £30 extra)

 

Payments & Charities.

VHE require a £15 non-refundable deposit (£25 if fare is over £100) via bacs, card, cheque or cash to secure any booking.

 

The balance may be paid prior to departure or on the day of travel. Collection from Areas D, E & F balance payments are payable a minimum 72 hours prior to collection date.

 

VHE pay 1% to Lincs. & Notts. Air Ambulance & local historic building restoration projects on all bookings over £100 & make a 50% donation on members "tips" over £5 to endangered animal charities.

 

Private Hire Pickup Surcharges: (Additional pickups cost £5)

 

AREA A

F.O.C. for local residents who live in villages less than a 10 mile radius of Carlton Le Moorland. (Majority of these villages lie within the A46, A15, A17 triangle.)

 

AREA B

VHE charge £5 for pickups from Newark.

 

AREA C

VHE charge £10 for pickups from Lincoln postcodes and Rushcliffe Borough plus market towns of Grantham, Sleaford, Bingham, Southwell and Bottesford. In addition all the villages South of A17, West of A15, North of A52 and East of A46.( apply if outside Area A & B) Fables customers £5.

 

AREA D

VHE charge £15 pickups (if outside Areas A, B & C) for the East Midlands, South Yorkshire & Humberside & the N.E.C. (Birmingham airport £20)  Fables customers £10

 

AREA E

VHE charge £20 for pickups in North and West Yorkshire &  East of England. (Harwich Port, Stansted, London Southend & Manchester Airport  £25)

 

AREA F (Members only)

VHE charge £40 for pickups in the North East, South East regions. (Gatwick, Heathrow, Teeside & Newcastle airports & Southampton port £50)

 

General Information

For everyone's comfort & safety VHE use the front passenger seat sparingly but if 6 passengers are required please add £10 to the cost of the journey. VHE adhere to Government guidelines at the time regarding masks, gloves & sanitizing. Air is circulated & vehicles are non smoking with frequent stops accommodated.

 

If drivers waiting time at airports and seaports is more than one hour from confirmed collection time additional fees are chargeable of up to £10 per hour

 

All parking charges & road tolls or congestion charges incurred are charged at cost with cash payment accepted.

 

Maximum vehicles distance is 110 miles in areas A & B) and between 100 to 120 miles in all other areas before a 35 minute service stop is required to charge the vehicle back to 110 miles.

 

For larger groups or more long distance work VHE have built up an enviable relationship with Skills Coaches who are reputable long established suppliers of mini busses and executive coaches. VHE receive a 15% commission on any work we recommend which results in a booking. As VHE use Skills regular our fee is usually saved through our purchasing power so it shouldn't add to your costs!
