Hidden England overnight personalised journeys are a joy to explore!
Why not combine Cambridgeshire & Lincolnshire, Leicestershire / Rutland & Cambridgeshire or Lincolnshire & Leicestershire / Rutland or if time allows visit all four counties by staying a second night in Hidden England.
Lincolnshire provides 25% of all arable produce and is home to the Lincolnshire sausage. Leicestershire is famous for its food festivals, stilton and pork pies. Cambridgeshire for its Universities and tea rooms with Rutland for its Ruddles Brewery and quintessential English pubs.
The A1 provides the perfect link road or the Eastern Line travels through or close to many of our Counties allowing VHE to fairly quickly and easily meet & greet our valued clients. In addition Stansted Airport is conveniently located within this region for our international travellers.
Starting from your preferred location and choosing from the many hidden pursuits displayed on the next page VHE can produce a bespoke overnight or long weekend personalised journey criss crossing these counties on beautiful rural roads to ensure our clients experience a truly memorable time in Hidden England. One suggestion for a personalised overnight journey is a visit to four of the eight Hidden England Treasures Houses. VHE work closely with these magnificent treasure houses and will purchase your combined ticket all within easy driving distance of one another with picturesque towns, delightful villages and magnificent countryside along the routes.

Each of the personalised journeys are based on a theme arguably depicting each Counties identity, although your personal journey may lie in the simpler life with lovely walks & cycle rides plus a visit to Eastern England's heritage sites. (Members and International visitors have access to further personalised journeys which increases their choice)
During your brief time in Hidden England it is important to match the accommodation to your personal tastes, age and group to ensure you achieve a lasting legacy of your visit. Please check our "Hidden Hideaways" on the next page as we have listed a few examples of quirky accommodation but can also suggest (when requested) a farm, pub, inn, barn, lodge or historical buildings to stay.......and wherever possible will adapt your personalised overnight journey to your preferred choice.
VHE charge £25 for forwarding a couple of "quirky" or hidden accommodation suggestions which ultimately results in a reservation in your name. Once you have ascertained the accommodation covers all your requirements and you have secured VHE services you make the reservation yourself but suggest you forward the reservation on to us as we are constantly establishing relationships through our recommendations and as we don't ask for commission it may mean "extras" for our clients when they arrive! As part of the finders service fee VHE will at the appropriate time make a reservation for dinner (if possible & required) at the accommodation or in the nearest village / town and ring ahead to let the accommodation know our estimated time of arrival. VHE charge £75 for drivers accommodation.
